Backstreet's Back Alright!

Time for another high school friends adventure! This time we met up in Las Vegas for the Backstreet Boys concert in the Sphere in July 2025!

Sharon and I flew out on a late Thursday afternoon flight. We were delayed a bit, but finally made it airborne and landed as the sun was setting for a beautiful view of the Strip and Sphere.

We stayed at the Venetian and had a gorgeous room. Bailey arrived a little after we got settled in the room. While waiting for Kathleen to land, we grabbed a drink and apps at a restaurant near the casino. My bubbles were unfortunately underwhelming.

Friday was a pool day. We had picked the Venetian for their pools and for it connecting to the Sphere. We had breakfast up on the pool deck and then found a spot on the deck to camp out for several hours. Need to report the drinks are suuuuuper expensive, but the margarita was delicious!

After getting spiffed up and decked out in our white-out outfits, we headed to our gondola ride appointment. It was a fun short ride. Next up was a delicious dinner at BRERA Osteria. 

Then, it was time! We streamed with thousands of other fans into the Sphere. The atmosphere was indescribable. Imagine thousands of other fans (most of them in white outfits) singing along with BSB and jamming in our seats. We were in section 104 (I think) and while we didn't get the full view of the screen, we still really loved it. Our seats would have been good for people that get motion sickness. On that note, if you are prone to motion sickness I recommend taking some meds to help you manage the motion on the screen of the Sphere.

Saturday we slept in and then three of us ventured to the pool near our room while Sharon hit the shoppes. I loved the warm pool there. Met up for lunch and then Bailey and Kathleen went to enjoy their massages in the spa. Sharon and I went to the pool and then we headed to the Terminal to check out the BSB merch store. I did not feel like waiting in the many lines for photo ops, but you totally could - like the TRL set.

Kathleen had to head home and the rest of us took a Lyft to Lotus of Siam for a delicious Thai dinner. Tip - the Lyft/Uber pick up area is kind of a nightmare in the hotels. Would suggest that you grab a taxi in the front of the hotel. We did that on Sunday morning for our ride to the airport and it was a much better experience.

We had to make it back in time for Sharon and Bailey to change and go back to the Sphere to watch the show again! This time they were in the 2nd deck area so got the full Sphere screen experience.  I chilled back in our room with a glass of bubbles and shows.

The morning came fast as we had an earlyish flight. Caught a taxi to the airport around 630a after checking out and made it with time to grab a chai and bagel before boarding our flights home.

Such a memorable trip and so glad to have been there with these amazing ladies!!! It was a trip to refresh the soul and make our hearts sing!
